Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - MB/08/01391/FULL
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed erection of a two storey side extension will by reason of its large size, siting and design appear as an overly large addition to the house to the detriment of its character and appearance and in conflict with Mid Beds Local Plan policy DPS6 and this authority's design guide on House extensions and Alterations wherein house extensions should appear a being subservient to the main house.
2) The proposed erection of a large detached double garage to the front of the house will appear as being visually intrusive in the street scene and have an adverse impact on the character of the cottage itself in conflict with Policy DPS6 of the Mid Beds Local Plan First Review 2005 and the design guide on House Extensions and Alterations.
