Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - MB/08/01440/FULL
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed development, by nature of its form and content, would result in a cramped and confined form of development at odds with the surrounding properties to the detriment of the character and appearance of the area; as such the proposal is contrary to Policy DPS5 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review Adopted 2005.
2) The proposed development would, if permitted, result in unacceptable overlooking both within the site and over the adjacent allocated development site to the north. The development would thus be contrary to the aims of Policies DPS5 and DPS9 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review 2005.
3) The application contains insufficient information in the form of a legal agreement requiring contributions to local infrastructure; as such the proposal is contrary to policy DPS1 of the adopted Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan and to Mid Bedfordshire District Council's Adopted Supplementary Planning Guidance: Planning Obligations Strategy (2008).
