Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - MB/08/02224/FULL
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposal represents an undesirable form of development inappropriate to and at variance with the prevailing form of development in the vicinity. The proposed new dwelling would appear cramped on the small plot and would detract from the character and appearance of the surrounding area; as such the proposal is contrary to Policy DPS5 of the Adopted Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan 2005.
2) The proposal would result in an undesirable and unacceptable form of development such that it would have an overbearing impact on the amenities of the occupiers of nearby residential properties; as such the proposal is contrary to Policy DPS5 of the Adopted Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan 2005.
3) The application contains insufficient information in the form of a legal agreement requiring contributions to local infrastructure; as such the proposal is contrary to Mid Bedfordshire District Council's Adopted Supplementary Planning Document: Planning Obligations Strategy (2008).
