Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - MB/08/02309/FULL
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The garage by virtue of its height does not preserve or enhance the character and appearance of this part of the Steppingley Conservation Area and is therefore contrary to Policy CHE11 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan and Planning Policy Guidance 15: Planning and the Historic Environment, 1994.
2) The building is within the South Beds Green Belt and is considered by reason of its height to be visually detrimental and therefore does not accord with the advice in paragraph 3.15 of PPG 2: Green Belts, 1995.
3) The proposed development, by nature of its height would have an adverse impact upon an Area of Great Landscape Value contrary to Policy CS3 of the Adopted Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review 2005.
