Conditions or Reasons:
1) The boundary fence, by reason of its height and siting, is visually intrusive and hence has an unacceptable detrimental impact on the character and appearance of the street scene. The proposal to retain the fence in the current position is therefore contrary to the principles of good design as set out in national guidance within Planning Policy Statement 1, 'Delivering Sustainable Development', Planning Policy Statement 3, 'Housing' and to Policy BE8 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review.
