Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - CB/09/06979/FULL
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The application site is too restricted to allow a satisfactory form of development to be carried out, with the proposal failing to provide sufficient separation between, and space about the buildings to provide an acceptable level of amenity for future occupants. The proposal is therefore contrary to the principles of good design set out in Planning Policy Statements 1: 'Delivering Sustainable Development' and 3: 'Housing' and contrary to the provisions of Policies H2 and BE8 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review.
2) The proposed development would make inadequate provision for the parking of cars and would be likely to lead to an increase in on-street parking thereby resulting in unacceptable traffic congestion and additional hazards for highway users and local residents.
