Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed fence, by virtue of its inappropriate scale, design, colour and materials, appears as an unduly prominent and excessively urban feature within the contextual street scene and fails to preserve and enhance the character, appearance and setting of the Southcott Conservation Area. The proposal is therefore contrary to Policy BE8 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review and to the advice contained within Planning Policy Guidance Note 15: Planning and the Historic Environment.
