Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - CB/10/00809/FULL
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed two storey extension, by nature of its size, design and siting represents an unacceptable enlargement of the dwelling to the detriment of the character and appearance of the streetscene; as such the proposal is contrary to the provisions of Policy DM3 of the Core Strategy and Development Management Policies (2009) and the adopted Central Bedfordshire Design Guide (1010).
2) The proposal by reason of its size, design and siting would result in an undesirable and unacceptable form of development such that it would have an adverse overbearing impact and loss of light on the amenity of the occupiers of no. 44 High Street; as such the proposal is contrary to Policy DM3 of the Core Strategy and Development Management Policies (2009) and the adopted Central Bedfordshire Design Guide (1010).
