Conditions or Reasons:
1) The construction of this large, hipped roof dormer will appear as a large, incongruous and visually prominent addition to the house, out of keeping with its character and appearance, to the detriment of the appearance of this part of the street scene in the Ampthill Conservation Area. This will be in conflict with policies DM3 and DM13 of the Core Strategy and Development Management Policy Document dated November 2009, the Central Bedfordshire Design Guide on House Extensions and Alterations dated 2009 and PPS5.
