Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed two storey side and rear extension would, by reason of its size, scale, massing and overall poor design, be an obtrusive, overbearing and incongruous development that would be poorly related to the existing house and would detract from the amenity and the character of the surrounding area. The proposal would therefore be contrary to Policy 10 of the Bedfordshire Structure Plan 2011 and Policies BE8 and H8 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review.
