Conditions or Reasons:
1) The existing dwelling is situated at the end of a terrace and adjacent to a similar terrace, both exhibiting a strong symmetrical appearance. The proposed front extension works , by reason of their bulk, unsympathetic design and forward projection would upset this balance to the detriment of the property, rhythm of development along this part of the streetscene and character of the area. The proposed extension is considered to conflict with Policy DM3 of the Core Strategy and Development Management Policies, Central Bedfordshire (North), November 2009.
