Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed development would result in a cramped appearance in relation to the size of the plot and the adjoining buildings and accordingly would be out of character with the surrounding area. The proposal is therefore contrary to the principles of good design set out in Policies BE8 and H8 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review.
2) The proposed two storey side extension would, because of its size and siting, be out of character with the existing dwelling and other similar properties in the street harmful to the visual amenities of the street scene and of nearby residents. The proposal is therefore contrary to Policies BE8 and H8 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review.
3) The proposed detached double garage would, because of its size and siting, constitute an overly assertive development, harmful to the visual amenity of the street scene and of nearby residents. The proposal is therefore contrary to Policies BE8 and H8 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review.
