Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed wall and gates would, by virtue of their size and siting, form an unduly prominent and overly intrusive feature within the streetscene,and have a detrimental affect on the established character of the area harmful to the visual amenity of the streetscene. The proposal is therefore contrary to the principles of good design as set out in national guidance within Planning Policy Statement 1: 'Delivering Sustainable Development' and in Policy BE8 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review.
