Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - SB/07/01266
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed development, if permitted, would lead to the intensification of use of an existing access which provides inadequate driver/driver intervisibility and would give rise to conditions of danger for all road users and the development of the site would thereby be contrary to Policy H2 (criterion vi) of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review.
2) The proposed development fails to provide a turning area which is suitable for a light goods vehicle and as a result would lead to service/delivery vehicles having to manoeuvre from or to Totternhoe Road in reverse gear leading to additional hazards for highway users and the development of the site would thereby be contrary to Policy H2 (criterion vi) of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review.
