Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - SB/07/01384
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The boundary fence has an unacceptable detrimental impact on the character and appearance of the area and street scene by reason of height, siting and design and the materials not being sympathetic and in keeping with the area, particularly the adjoining properties. The proposal is therefore contrary to the principles of good design set out within the national guidance in Planning Policy Statement (PPS) 1, 'Delivering Sustainable Development' and Policy BE8 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review.
