Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed extension would, by reason of its scale and design, be an obtrusive and overbearing addition, would be poorly related to the existing house, would fail to complement and harmonise with its surroundings and would detract from the amenity of neighbouring occupiers and the amenity of the area generally. The proposal would thereby be contrary to government guidance contained within Planning Policy Statement 1: 'Delivering Sustainable Development' and Policies BE8 and H8 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review.
