Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - SB/08/00153
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed dormer windows would, by reason of their design, be a visually obtrusive and incongruous form of development, being poorly related to the existing dwelling, the row of terraced dwellings of which it forms a part and detrimental to the visual amenity of neighbouring residents and the character of the area generally. The proposal would be contrary to the principles of good design as set out in national guidance within Planning Policy Statement 1 'Delivering Sustainable Development' and Policies BE8 and H8 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review.
