Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - SB/08/00355
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The applicant has not included adequate provision within the site for parking and manoeuvring of vehicles clear of the highway. The development if permitted would therefore be likely to lead to additional on-street and on verge parking and to vehicles reversing onto or off of the highway to the detriment of public and highway safety. The proposal would thereby be contrary to national guidance contained within Planning Policy Statement 1 'Delivering Sustainable Development', Planning Policy Statement 3 'Housing', Planning Policy Guidance Note 13 'Transport' and Policies BE8, H2 and H9 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review.
