Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - SB/08/00640/FULL
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed development, by reason of encroachment within the root protection area and the reduction of the canopies of the protected Beech Trees on the site, would have a harmful impact on the health and appearance of the trees to the detriment of the landscape character and visual amenity of the streetscene. The proposal is therefore contrary to the principles of good design as set out within national guidance in Planning Policy Statement 1: 'Delivering Sustainable Development' and to Policies H2 and BE8 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review.
