Conditions or Reasons:
1) The brown coloured weatherboarding, due to the type of finish, contrasts starkly with the brick finish of the adjoining and neighbouring properties. The property is in a prominent location open to public view and as such is detrimental to the character and appearance of its surroundings. The proposal is therefore contrary to Policies CS14 and DM3 of the Central Bedfordshire Development Management Policies (2009) and guidance in Design in Central Bedfordshire (2014).
