Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - CB/15/01167/FULL
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The new development, by virtue of its excessive size and scale, inappropriate design and siting adjacent to the listed building, will negatively impact on the setting of the listed building and will harm the character, appearance and local distinctiveness of Toddington Conservation Area. As such the application is contrary to Policies BE8, H2 & H9 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review 2004, Chapter 7 (requiring good design), notably paragraph 58, Chapter 12 (Conserving and enhancing the historic environment) of the National Planning Policy Framework, and the accompanying Practice Guide.
