Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - CB/15/01168/LB
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The application is for Listed Building Consent for works to facilitate the conversion of a restaurant to a dwelling house, works would include alterations to the external appearance of the building. The full planning application to change of use of the building has not been found acceptable, and therefore the works to the Listed Building would not be necessary at this time. It is not acceptable to undertake intrusive works to a Listed Building without justification for doing so, and therefore the application would neither preserve or enhance the special character of the Listed Building; as such the proposal is contrary to the National Planning Policy Framework (2012) Section 12.
