Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed two storey side extension would, because of its lack of subordination be out of character with the existing dwelling and other similar properties in the street and would thus be harmful to the balance of the semi detached pair and visual amenities of the street scene. The proposal is therefore contrary to the principles of good design as set out in the National Planning Policy Framework, Policies BE8 and H8 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review, Policy 43 of the emerging Development Strategy for Central Bedfordshire and Design Supplement 7: Householder Alterations and Extensions of the Central Bedfordshire Design Guide.
