Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed development would, because of its large size, siting and unsympathetic and incongruous design, be out of character with the existing dwelling and other similar properties in the locality harmful to the visual amenities of the area and of nearby residents. The proposal is therefore contrary to Policies DM3 of the Core Strategy and Development Management Planning Document dated 2009 and the design guide on Householder Alterations and Extensions.
