Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - CB/16/02857/VOC
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed insertion of rooflights would be out of character with the building group which is considered to be of particular local significance and which positively contributes to the character of the Conservation Area of which it is part. As such,  the proposed development is considered to carry intrinsic harm which fails to sustain building significance and fails to sustain the consequent contribution the building to makes to the local character and distinctiveness of the Conservation Area.  The proposal is therefore contrary to Paragraph 135 of the National Planning Policy Framework, policy BE8 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review and the Central Bedfordshire Design Guide.
