Conditions or Reasons:
1) The site lies within the South Bedfordshire Green Belt and the proposed extensions would, because of their size, siting and appearance, result in a disproportionate increase in the size of the original dwelling so being inappropriate in and affecting the openness of the Green Belt and contrary to the advice contained within Section 9 of the National Planning Policy Framework, Policy H13 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review and the Central Bedfordshire Design Guide.
2) The proposed development would, because of its increased height and increased size be out of character with the existing dwelling and harmful to the visual amenities of the street scene, nearby residents and the Green Belt. The proposal is therefore contrary to Sections 7 and 9 of the National Planning Policy Framework, Policies BE8, H8 and H13 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review and the Central Bedfordshire Design Guide.
