Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed two-storey front extension would, because of its size, siting and unsympathetic, incongruous design, be out of character with the existing dwelling, unbalance the row of detached dwellings on the same side of Lomond Drive and therefore be harmful to the visual amenities of the street scene and of nearby residents. The proposal is therefore contrary to the principles of good design stated within Policies BE8 and H8 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review, technical guidance in the Central Bedfordshire Design Guide (2014) and Section 7 of the National Planning Policy Framework.
