Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - CB/09/05056/TP
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The application site is too restricted in size for the proposed development which would appear cramped in relation to adjoining buildings and out of character with the surrounding area. The proposal is therefore contrary to the principles of good design set out in national guidance within Planning Policy Statements 1 (Delivering Sustainable Development) & 3 (Housing) and Policies BE8 & H2 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review.
2) The proposal would, because of its scale and siting constitute an unsatisfactory form of development bearing no relationship to adjoining residential development and would be detrimental to the residential amenity of the occupiers of that adjoining development. The proposal is therefore contrary to the principles of good design set out in national guidance within Planning Policy Statements 1 (Delivering Sustainable Development) & 3 (Housing) and Policies BE8 & H2 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review.
