Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed conversion works to Barn 1, which is listed as being of Special Architectural or Historic Interest, by virtue of the extent of the first floor accommodation and internal partitioning to be inserted within the building together with other proposed alterations , would be likely to cause unacceptable harm to the special architectural and historic interest of the listed building and may have an adverse impact on its historic and structural integrity.. The proposal is therefore contrary to national guidance contained in Planning Policy Guidance Note 15, 'Planning and the Historic Environment' and Policy NE12 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review.
