Conditions or Reasons:
1) The site of the proposed pond contains earthwork features relating to the medieval manorial site at Studham Hall which are regionally important remains of the medieval landscape. The excavation of the pond would destroy part of the earthwork complex and compromise the integrity and legibility of the rest of the remains. The proposed development would be contrary to Planning Policy Statement 16 "Archeaology and Planning."
