Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - CB/17/01365/FULL
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed means of access to the site is inadequate by reasons of its width to serve the proposed development with safety and convenience. The proposal is therefore contrary to the principles of good design set out in Policy DM3 of the Core Strategy for the North and the Central Bedfordshire Design Guidance, and The National Planning Policy Framework.
2) The applicant has not included adequate provision of space within the site for parking and manoeuvring of vehicles clear of the highway. The development if permitted would therefore be likely to lead to indiscriminate parking or the stationing of vehicles on the highway or to vehicles reversing onto or off the highway to the detriment of public and highway safety. The proposal is therefore contrary to the principles of good design set out in Policy DM3 of the Core Strategy for the North and the Central Bedfordshire Design Guidance, and The National Planning Policy Framework.
