Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed development would lie outside of the designated settlement envelope of Potton, separated from the main body of the village by Sutton Road, and would by reason of its location, siting and relationship with adjacent land, would be harmful to the character of the area by extending built form into the countryside. The proposal is therefore contrary to Policies DM3 and DM4 of the Central Bedfordshire Council Core Strategy and Development Management Policies Development Plan Document (2009).
