Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - CB/17/05543/FULL
Conditions or Reasons:
1) To permit this proposal would increase vehicular usage of a substandard highway which, by virtue of its restricted width, alignment and lack of vehicular passing places would preclude convenient movement on the public highway to the detriment of public safety and convenience. As such the proposal is contrary to Policy DM3 in the Central Bedfordshire Core Strategy and Development Management Planning Document dated 2009.
2) The site lies in a rural location in the Green Belt in a rural position beyond the settlement envelope of Ridgmont. The proposed extensions to an existing ancillary building to facilitate a new dwelling would represent inappropriate development in the Green Belt detracting from its openess in conflict with planning policy DM3 in the Core Strategy and Development Management Planning Document dated 2009 and the NPPF.
