Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - CB/18/00430/FULL
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed single storey front, two storey side and part single storey, part two storey rear extensions would, because of their scale, bulk and unsympathetic design, be out of character with and detrimental to the existing dwelling and other similar properties in the locality and would be unduly dominant within the streetscene and would therefore be harmful to the visual amenities of the street scene. The proposal is therefore contrary to the principles of good design contained within Section 7 of the National Planning Policy Framework, policies H8 and BE8 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review 2004, policy HQ1 of the emerging Central Bedfordshire Local Plan 2015-2035 and Design Supplement Number 7 of the Central Bedfordshire Design Guide 2014.
