1) The proposed development would present a bulky appearance, which would be unsympathetic to the rural character of the area. Due to its scale, size and visual prominance within the area, the development is considered to harm the character of the area as a result. As such, the development would not comply with Policy DM3 of the adopted Local Plan and the NPPF.
