Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed extension is of a size, scale, form, siting and design such that it would form a disproportionate addition to the original dwelling which is not respectful of the building's original design, resulting in harm to the character and appearance of the dwelling, and the surrounding residential area. The proposed development is not therefore of a high-quality design that respects local distinctiveness and does not represent a sustainable form of development having regard to the environmental objective of sustainable development and conflicts with policy DM3 of the Core Strategy Development Management Policies and Section 12 of the National Planning Policy Framework.
