Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - CB/21/01977/LB
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed development of this Grade II listed building would by reason of its unsatisfactory design, size, form and detailing not preserve or enhance the significance and character of this listed building and would result in harm to the significance of this designated heritage asset. The proposed development would diminish the architectural integrity of the building and cause less than substantial harm to the historic significance of the Listed Building (in accordance with paragraphs 193, 194, 196 and 198 of the NPPF). The proposal fails to satisfy the provisions of Section 66 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 and as supported by the aims of Section 16 of the NPPF, Policy BE2 and BE8 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review 2004 and the Design Supplement 3 of the Central Bedfordshire Design Guide 2014.
