Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - CB/21/02118/FULL
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed storage containers used for commercial storage constitutes inappropriate development within the Green Belt. It is considered that no very special circumstances exist which clearly outweigh the harm to the green belt by reason of inappropriateness and any other harm. As such the proposed development constitutes inappropriate development within the Green Belt contrary to SP4 of the Central Beds Local Plan and Section 13 of the National Planning Policy Framework.
2) The proposed storage containers by reason of their excessive scale, excessive site coverage and unsatisfactory appearance result in detrimental harm to the openness of the Green Belt and the character of this area of open countryside. The fencing by reason of its prominent siting and excessive scale creates harm to the openness and character of the area. As such the proposal is contrary to Policy HQ1 of the Central Bedfordshire Local Plan and Section 12 of the National Planning Policy Framework.
