Conditions or Reasons:
1) The introduction of a partially enclosed outdoor seating area for the purpose of providing a Shisha smoking area, incidental to the use of the restaurant premises, would be likely to result in an unacceptable level of noise disturbance and light pollution, detrimental to the amenities of the adjacent residential properties. The proposal is therefore contrary to Policy HQ1 of the CBLP (2021) and Sections 12 and 15 of the NPPF, and the Design Guide.
