Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - CB/23/01180/VOC
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed removal of the required footpath provision would impact on the sustainability of the site and would result in negative impacts in respect of sustainable access to services and facilities within the village and in respect of pedestrian / highway safety. As a result occupiers of the development are likely to be wholly reliant upon private motor vehicle for access to services. The failure to provide the footpath would not constitute high quality development and would conflict with Policy HQ1 of the CBLP and Chapter 12 of the NPPF. In addition it would result in development that is not well integrated with the existing transport network, would not promote walking and cycling permeability or ensure appropriate linkages and would fail to provide safe and convenient access for pedestrians. As such the proposal would conflict Policy T1 of the CBLP and Chapter 8 and 9 of the NPPF.
