Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - CB/23/03599/FULL
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed creation of a dropped kerb and driveway, partial removal of wall and erection of new gates, due to the proposed material, location and design, would cause harm to the significance and setting of the Grade II Listed Building. The proposed development would diminish the architectural integrity of the building and cause less than substantial harm to the historic significance of The Old Chapel, (Grade II Listed Building).The development is considered to be contrary to policies HQ1 and HE3 of the adopted Local Plan, Section 5 of the adopted Design Guide. The proposal would fail to satisfy the provisions of Sections 66 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 as supported by the aims of Section 16 of the NPPF.
