Conditions or Reasons:
2) Notwithstanding the details submitted with the application the roof cover works hereby approved shall be undertaken using natural slate with complementary ridge pieces, full illustrated product details of which (slate and ridge pieces), identifiable by suppliers or manufacturers product name or code, shall be submitted to, and approved in writing by, the Local Planning Authority prior to any installation of the roofing slates or ridge pieces on site, and the approved works shall be undertaken thereafter strictly in accordance with the approved details.
Reason: To ensure that the approved works are carried out in a manner that safeguards the traditional character of this listed building in all respects and to safeguard the character and appearance of the Conservation Area in which the building is located (Section 16, NPPF)
