1) The fencing fails to provide adequate driver/driver intervisibility for both the application site and the adjacent property (160 Sharpenhoe Road) and would lead to conditions of danger and inconvenience for users of the highway and these properties. Consequently, the development would have an adverse highway safety impact, contrary to Policy T2 of the Central Bedfordshire Local Plan (2021) and Section 9 of the National Planning Policy Framework (2024).
