Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - CB/25/02609/PAAD
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The conversion of Barns 1 and 2 to C3 dwellinghouses could result in a mixed use of the site whereby, as a result of the close siting of the proposed dwellings to an existing building and the layout of the buildings within the farmyard, together with the retention of existing silos and associated agricultural apparatus, the Council are not satisfied that activities of the nearby buildings and surrounding land would not adversely affect the living conditions of future occupiers of the proposed dwellings, with particular regard to noise, disturbance and outlook. Consequently, it would be undesirable for the two buildings to be converted into residential use in this location. The application therefore fails the test at paragraph Q.2(1)(e) of Part 3, Schedule 2 of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 2015 (as amended).
