Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - CB/26/02176/FULL
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed extension would, because of its size, scale and massing, result in a disproportionate increase in the size of the original dwelling so being inappropriate in and affecting the openness of the Green Belt and therefore contrary with policies GB6 & GB7 of the NPPF, CBLP Policy SP4 and the Central Bedfordshire Design Guide.
2) The proposed extensions, due to their non-subservient appearance, are out of keeping with the host dwelling and surrounding street scene and therefore would have a detrimental impact on the character and appearance of the area and the original dwelling, contrary to NPPF policy DP3 and policy HQ1 of the Central Bedfordshire Local Plan.
