1 )Our records indicate that the proposed site is within 50m of reference SH1021 of our records of potentially contaminated sites. SH1021 is listed in our 1995 survey as a petrol station namely FC Dawes and Son Ltd, 25 High Road, Shillington, Beds. Therefore the applicant is advised that whilst the Council has no positive evidence to suggest that the site is contaminated, it is the developer's responsibility to ensure that the final ground conditions are fit for the end use of the site.
