)The applicant is advised that no works associated with the construction of the vehicular accesses should be carried out within the confines of the public highway without prior consent, in writing, of the Bedfordshire County Council. Upon receipt of this Notice of Planning Approval, the applicant is advised to write to Bedfordshire County Council's Customer Contact Centre, 6th Floor, County Hall, Bedford, MK42 9AP quoting the Planning Application number and supplying a copy of the Decision Notice and a copy of the approved plan. This will enable the necessary consent and procedures under Section 184 of the Highways Act to be implemented. The responsibility for safe development and secure occupancy of the site rests with the developer. The applicants are advised to contact the Environmental Health Service for any further information if contamination is suspected. In line with Planning Policy Statement 23, Annex 2, in this case, as a minimum requirement, the applicant should provide a Desk Top Study and Site Reconnaissance.The applicant is advised that the District Planning Authority has determined the application on the basis of the information available to it but this does not mean that the site is free from contamination.
