Informative Notes:
1 )CBC Archaeology Team advises that the application site is considered to retain its archaeological potential. It is understood that no decision has been taken yet regarding the extent of the demolition works and whether this will include the removal of the concrete slabs and the grubbing up of any foundations. It is the preference of the Archaeology Team that the buildings are only demolished down to current ground level as any works undertaken below ground level will have a damaging and irreversible impact upon any surviving archaeological remains at the site. The applicant is therefore advised to contact the Archaeology Team directly if they have any queries relating to the archaeological sensitivity of the site.CBC Archaeology Team advises that the application site is considered to retain its archaeological potential.
