)Will a new extension affect your Council Tax Charge?
The rate of Council Tax you pay depends on which valuation band your home is placed in. This is determined by the market value of your home as at 1 April 1991.
Your property's Council Tax band may change if the property is extended. The Council Tax band will only change when a relevant transaction takes place. For example, if you sell your property after extending it, the new owner may have to pay a higher band of Council Tax.
If however you add an annexe to your property, the Valuation Office Agency may decide that the annexe should be banded separately for Council Tax. If this happens, you will have to start paying Council Tax for the annexe as soon as it is completed. )The applicant is advised that no works associated with the construction of the widened vehicular access should be carried out within the confines of the public highway without prior consent, in writing, of the Central Bedfordshire Council Highways Department. Upon receipt of this Notice of Planning Approval, the applicant is advised to seek approval from the Local Planning Authority for details of the proposed widened vehicular access in accordance with Condition 5. Upon formal approval of details, it will be necessary for the developer of the site to enter into an agreement with Central Bedfordshire Council as Highway Authority under Section 278 of the Highways Act 1980 to ensure the satisfactory completion of the widened access. 240 - £25 +VAT per bin
This fee must be paid prior to discharging the relevant condition (condition 10 on this approval of planning permission decision notice). A purchase order must be raised for the quantity of bins required and sent to Waste Services quoting the relevant planning reference number. We will also require a map of the site detailing street names, plot and house numbers.
The approved plan shows that there is a bin storage point. Bins must be easily accessible on collection day and not enclosed within a storage cupboard. Bins must not encroach on or cause a hazard or obstruction to the public highway.
