Informative Notes:
1 )The Buckingham & River Ouzel Internal Drainage Board has advised that no provision for storm water disposal has been indicated in the proposed scheme. Sufficient storm water disposal arrangements have been advised to be essential in order to avoid problems regarding localised flooding. The Internal Drainage Board has therefore suggested that the agricultural bulding scheme's storm water design and construction proposals are confirmed as adequate before development commences. Please note that storm water discharge will not be allowed into a watercourse under the Board's control without the prior consent of the Internal Drainage Board. Please also note that the watercourse on the boundary of, or passing through this site is under the statutory control of the Internal Drainage Board. In accordance with the Board's byelaws, no development should take place within 9metres of bank top, without the Board's prior consent, this includes any planting, fencing or other landscaping. The Internal Drainage Board would expect this agricultural building to be outside of the 9 metre byelaw strip given its location. The 9 metre byelaw strip is required by the Internal Drainage Board for access for maintenance plant and equipment and for the spread and levelling of arisings, from the watercourse. It is therefore inappropriate to develop within this strip such that maintenance is obstructed, and hence the proposals within the strip are unlikely to receive the consent of the Internal Drainage Board. Consent from the Internal Drainage Board is separate from and additional to any planning consent that may be granted. Please contact the Buckingham and River Ouzel Internal Drainage Board using the details below to obtain further guidance on any separate consents required.
